Camden is one of the most varied suburbs we work in on the South West Sydney run. The suburb splits pretty cleanly into two worlds. In the estate sections of Elderslie and Spring Farm, we're doing new ducted installs for families moving into 4 and 5-bedroom homes. In the heritage streets of Camden town itself, the work is different - assessment, careful planning, and sometimes split systems where ducted isn't practical through an old roofline.
Sizing varies a lot in Camden depending on which part of the suburb you're in. A heritage cottage in Camden town might only need a 6kW system. A large estate home in Elderslie is more likely to need 12-14kW of ducted capacity. On the rural residential fringe, it can push higher again. We always assess the actual home before we size anything. Use our sizing calculator to get a starting point before we visit.
Heritage Properties in Camden Town
The older properties in Camden town need a different approach. Low pitched rooflines, original timber framing, and tight ceiling spaces mean standard ducted installation isn't always possible without significant disruption to the home. We assess every heritage job properly before we commit to anything. In some cases, a well-placed wall-mounted split system in each main room is actually the better outcome - quieter, more controllable, and doesn't involve climbing through a 40-year-old roof cavity. See our repairs and installs page for the full picture.
We also cover Narellan, Campbelltown and the nearby suburbs on the same run. Same crew, same fixed prices across the whole corridor. If you're in one of those areas, we've got suburb-specific pages for each.
We're based just down the road in Menangle. Ben, the owner, lives there, so this end of the run gets seen fast. If you're south of town, see our pages for Menangle, Camden South, Camden Park and Picton.
