Started in 1991. Still going.
Ben runs it now. The boys have been here for years. Most of our customers end up being mates.
Jay started this business out of a ute in 1991. Did installs and repairs all over south-west Sydney, built up a reputation the old-fashioned way. Eventually Ben came through, learned the trade properly, and took the reins. It's still a family business. Nothing flash, just a good crew doing solid work. Mick has been with us since 2009. He runs all our installs and knows the construction out here better than most. Noah has been on the tools for years too. When you book Jay's, you get the same blokes every time. No subcontractors on install work. The crew who quotes is the crew who shows up.
We're not the type of business that treats every job like a transaction and moves on. Most of our work comes through referrals. People call us back when their next system needs doing. Some of them become proper mates. Ben gets compliments on his quotes. Mick and Noah get compliments on their installs. The common thread is simple: we show up when we say we will, do what we quoted, and don't leave a mess. That's the whole business.

Here's how to spot them before they take your deposit.
Sydney has no shortage of blokes with a van and a logo who'll give you a cheap quote, take a deposit, and then become very hard to reach. Or show up, do a half-job, and not come back when something goes wrong. Always ask for a licence number before anyone touches your system. ARCtick covers refrigerant handling and is federally required. NSW Fair Trading Contractor Licence covers electrical and refrigeration work. Both are public record. Both are searchable online in about 30 seconds. If a company can't give you a number, walk away. Ours are ARCtick AU13058 and NSW Licence 273312C. Look them up.

Ben Khosh
Ben lives and breathes air conditioning, and will typically be your point of contact,for services, repairs and installation queries. I run this company and am carrying on the legacy of Jay, my father, to make your summers cool and winters warm! My favourite part of what I do meeting people and solving problems. Hopefully I get to meet you and help with your air conditioning needs!

Jay is the man that started Jays air conditioning all the way back in 1991 and has an unrivalled passion for what he does, His only limitation is the fact that the sun sets each day, he is an ageless wonder that loves to work He first started in his trade in the 80’s and he has taught his sons everything they know. Everyone falls in love with his charm and warm nature. If you manage to get Jay you’re in for a real treat!

Mick Daly
Mick has been with Jays Air now since 2009 and is very much considered family. He is a team and customer favourite and by far the cheekiest and funniest on the team. He is methodical in his work and prides himself on his craftmanship, taking the time needed to ensure the job gets done perfectly. He loves his UFC and weekend Subaru drives, he hails from Scotland and we are incredibly fortunate to have him as part of us.

Noah Hall
Noah has been with Jays Air now for a couple years, we were lucky enough to work with him back in 2020 on a project and realised how difficult it is to find people like him so we asked him to join the team. He has become such a valued member of our team and routinely receives compliments on how neat his work is and how polite he is. He loves his FIFA (although has never been company champion) and is a dedicated family man to two young boys. He is an absolute super star and will make sure your taken care of and has such high standards on himself im sure he will impress you also!
