Often, issues can be prevented or easily resolved at home. To help you avoid avoidable service calls, here are some key maintenance tips:

• Filters should be washed every 200 hours of use.
• If you run your system daily (about 8 hours), clean filters once a month.
• For most homes, cleaning filters once per season is a safe and easy routine.
00
• If the filter looks worn, torn, thin, or misshapen, it’s time to replace it.
• A damaged filter can’t trap dust properly and forces your AC to work harder.
00
• Ensure there’s no furniture, curtains, or dust buildup blocking vents or the indoor unit.
• Good airflow helps your system cool and heat your home more efficiently.
00
• Do NOT use a vacuum — it damages the filter fibres.
• Rinse with a hose using low pressure to avoid holes.
• Wash the filter opposite to the direction of airflow.
• Let the filter dry for at least 5 minutes before placing it back.

Use the four seasons as a reminder:
• Winter → Spring → Summer → Autumn
• Clean your filters at least once during each season to keep your system running smoothly.

Many issues can be solved with simple checks:
• Is the filter clean?
• Are the settings correct (cool/heat, fan speed, mode)?
• Is the system receiving power?
If those are correct and it’s still not working, our family-run team is ready to help with minimal downtime.
