Brookvale is Northern Beaches country. The housing stock is mostly 1960s and 70s brick homes on proper-sized blocks, with a big commercial and industrial strip running along Pittwater Road. We get called out here for ducted replacements, new installs in homes that have never had refrigerated air, and repair work on systems beaten up by years of coastal salt air. It is a busy run for us.
What works in Brookvale homes
For the older brick homes through Brookvale, Manly Vale, and Freshwater, a ducted system is usually the right call. Most of these homes have reasonable roof cavities that work well for ducted ductwork. A typical 4-bedroom Brookvale home is looking at a 10-12kW Panasonic or Daikin system with 6-8 zones. Salt air from the coast is a real factor here - we always recommend systems with good corrosion protection on the outdoor unit. Use the sizing calculator to get a rough idea of what you need, or get a ducted cost estimate before calling us out.
For units and townhouses, a high-wall split is usually the go. Strata rules on the Northern Beaches vary - some buildings are straightforward, others require specific mounting positions for the outdoor unit. We check the strata requirements before quoting. If you want a number upfront, get a split system quote online.
We also do a lot of work in the Brookvale Trade Park and the commercial strip on Pittwater Road. Cassette systems, rooftop package units, and multi-zone commercial installs are all in our wheelhouse. Commercial enquiries go through Jay directly on (02) 9820 4500.
We cover Brookvale and the surrounding areas including Miranda, Hurstville, Caringbah, and Engadine. Jobs in this area run Monday to Friday 7am-5pm, Saturdays by arrangement. Call (02) 9820 4500 to book.
