Ducted is what most Campbelltown homes are built for, and it's what we do most out here.

Campbelltown summers get hot, properly hot, and a couple of split systems won't cool a big brick four-bedder. That's why ducted's the standard out here. We've been putting ducted into Campbelltown homes since 1991, our own blokes, no subbies. Most of what we do locally is either a fresh ducted install or swapping out a tired system that's given up after twenty-odd years.

Campbelltown

Campbelltown's full of brick-veneer family homes, a lot of them four-bed two-storeys from the 90s and 2000s, plus newer estates out toward the edges. Big floor plans, decent roof cavities, built for ducted. The older streets are now hitting the age where the original Carrier or Actron system is on its last legs.

About Us

Ducted Air Conditioning in Campbelltown

After ducted air conditioning in Campbelltown? For a typical four-bedroom home here, you're looking at roughly $9,000 to $12,000 for a fully installed zoned system, depending on size and layout. We've been doing it since 1991, our own crew, fixed quote before we start. 4.8 stars from 280+ reviews.

How much is ducted for a Campbelltown home? A single-storey three or four bedder usually needs a 10kW to 14kW system, call it $8,000 to $11,000 zoned. A bigger two-storey wants 14kW to 16kW, closer to $9,500 to $12,500. We size it off your actual floor plan, not a guess.

Zoning a Two-Storey Campbelltown Home

Most Campbelltown homes are two-storey, and that's where zoning earns its keep. Upstairs and downstairs on separate zones means you're only cooling the rooms you're in. Bedrooms zoned off the living areas. It cuts the running cost and stops the upstairs cooking while you're downstairs of an evening. We set the zones up around how you actually live in the house.

We run Panasonic, Daikin and Actron ducted, and we'll tell you straight which suits your place and budget. Mick runs our ducted installs and has been on the tools since 2009.

If you want to check what size you need before you call, have a play with our sizing calculator. For the full price list see our pricing guide. We also cover Camden, Narellan and Oran Park nearby, and if your system's playing up rather than needing replacing, head to our ducted repairs page.

Ducted Replacements in Campbelltown

A lot of our Campbelltown work is replacements. The estates that went up in the 90s and early 2000s all got builder-grade ducted systems, and those are now twenty to twenty-five years old and packing it in. Good news is the ductwork in the roof is usually fine, so a ducted air conditioning replacement in Campbelltown is mostly a new indoor and outdoor unit plus a controller, which keeps the cost down. We reuse what's good and replace what's gone.

FAQs

Ducted Air Conditioning Campbelltown - Common Questions

FAQs

For a typical four-bedroom Campbelltown home, a fully installed zoned ducted system runs about $9,000 to $12,000. Single-storey is usually less, a big two-storey a bit more. We size it off your floor plan and give you a fixed quote, no ‘from’ prices.

Most Campbelltown ducted installs are done in one to two days. A straight replacement that reuses the existing ducting is often a single day. A first-time install with new ductwork through the roof takes a bit longer. We’ll tell you upfront when we quote.

If it’s under about 12 years and it’s a zone motor, a capacitor or a board, repair it. If it’s 20-plus years, on old gas, and the compressor’s gone, a new system’s the smarter spend and the ducting usually gets reused so it’s cheaper than you’d think. We’ll give you the honest call.

Ducted Advice for Campbelltown Residents

Don't get talked into the cheapest box on a quote sheet. With ducted, the install quality matters as much as the brand. Dodgy duct runs and bad zoning will make a good unit feel weak. Ask who's actually doing the install. With us it's Mick and our own crew, every time.

If your existing ducting is sound, a replacement is mostly the units and controller, so get the old system assessed before you assume you need the lot redone. We'll tell you what's worth keeping.
