FAQs

Air Conditioning Kogarah - Common Questions

FAQs

For one of the older brick houses, ducted runs from about $7,000 for a 10kW system up to $11,000 for a bigger 14kW setup, depending on zones and roof access. A single split for a room or a unit sits between $1,800 and $3,000 fitted. We quote a fixed price up front, no guessing. Ring us on (02) 9820 4500.

A single split system is the go for most rentals around Kogarah. A 2.5kW handles a bedroom for around $1,800 to $2,100 fitted, and a 5kW covers an open living area for $2,500 to $3,000. Pick the size to suit the room and you keep both the install cost and the running cost down. Most unit blocks need strata sign-off on the outdoor unit spot, so check that first.

Usually we can fix it. A system that trips out is often a tired capacitor, a choked return filter, or a sensor on the way out, none of which means a whole new unit. We will diagnose it properly and tell you straight whether a repair makes sense or whether the system is too far gone. Most repair calls are attended within 1 to 2 business days.

Air Conditioning Advice for Kogarah Homeowners

Picking up an older Kogarah bungalow? Get any existing system serviced before summer rather than waiting for it to give up in a heatwave. A $250 Gold service often catches a small fault before it becomes a big bill. Landlords, a tidy split install makes a unit easier to rent and keeps tenants happy. Check the strata rules on outdoor unit placement before you book, and we will match the system to the space.
