Covering Dundas and the Parramatta area.
Ducted replacements on aging systems and split installs make up most of our Dundas work.

Dundas is a quiet, established suburb tucked between Parramatta and Carlingford. The housing stock is mostly 1960s and 70s full-brick on decent blocks - the kind that suits ducted air con well. We do a steady mix of ducted replacements, first-time splits, and repairs on older systems.

30+ Years

Most Dundas homes are 1960s-80s full-brick or brick veneer on 500-750sqm blocks. Solid roof cavities mean ducted works well here. A growing number of townhouses and smaller lots suit splits.

How much does ducted air conditioning cost in Dundas? A 10kW system for a 3-bedroom home runs $9,000-$10,500 installed. A 12.5kW system for a larger 4-bedroom home is $10,000-$11,500. A 5kW split for a living area is $2,400-$2,800.

Replacing Older Ducted Systems in Dundas Homes

A lot of the air conditioning repairs Dundas calls us for are on Carrier, Actron, and Temperzone ducted systems from the late 1990s. Common problems are failing compressors, zone motor faults, and refrigerant leaks that push running costs up. We look at the whole system and give you an honest read on repair vs replacement.

Ducted air conditioning Dundas homes is a strong fit - the full-brick construction and solid roof cavities mean installs go smoothly and systems perform well. Townhouses with lower-pitch roofs often suit a well-placed split instead.

We cover Dundas and the surrounding area including Parramatta, Rydalmere, and Telopea. Check our sizing calculator or pricing guide for ballpark numbers.

Ducted Air Conditioning Dundas

Ducted air conditioning Dundas homeowners choose for the full-house coverage it gives. The older brick construction and adequate roof cavities here make ducted a natural fit. We size the system to the home - a 10kW handles most 3-bedroom homes, a 12.5kW suits a larger 4-bedroom layout. Our work is fixed-price with no day-of surprises. Call (02) 9820 4500.

Air Conditioning Advice for Dundas Homeowners

Most homes in Dundas were built in the 1960s to 1980s. If you've never had ducted, it's worth getting a roof check first - full-brick homes here usually have enough cavity space. Townhouses are better suited to splits. For repairs, a system from before 2003 is getting to the age where replacement is often the smarter financial call. We'll give you the honest comparison.

Jay’s Air also provides air conditioning installation and repairs in nearby Epping.
