Need air conditioning in Austral? Jay's Air, since 1991. Big homes on big blocks often need 16kW or twin systems, so ducted runs $10,000 to $14,000, while older fibro homes take splits around $2,500. We size it for the actual house, not a guess. 4.8 stars from 280+ reviews.
Austral gets the full western Sydney heat with not much around to break it up. The new homes are big, and a big home needs a system with enough grunt to actually cool it. Air conditioning Austral homeowners get right is usually a properly sized ducted system, not something undersized that runs flat out and never wins.
These homes are larger than the ones in the estates closer to the city. A big single-storey on a decent block often needs 16kW or more, and a large two-storey can need a system at the top of the range or even two units to do it properly. Guessing the size on a home this big is how you end up disappointed. Our sizing calculator gives you a starting figure.
Big new homes on large blocks
The new Austral homes are built ducted-ready, which makes the install clean. We zone it room by room on the bigger floor plans so you are only cooling where you are. We fit Panasonic, Daikin or Actron. A large zoned ducted system out here lands around $9,500 to $12,500, more if the footprint needs two units.
For the older fibro homes and farmhouses, splits make more sense. They are quick, cheaper, and cool the rooms you actually use. We can do one in the living area and one in each bedroom that needs it. Pricing is on our pricing page.
We cover all of Austral and the new releases around it. We are often on jobs in nearby Leppington, Edmondson Park and Hoxton Park. Give us a bell.
