Covering Casula and the South West Sydney region.
Most of our Casula work is ducted replacements and repairs on older brick homes.

Casula is our backyard. We are based just up the road in Liverpool, so we are on Casula jobs most weeks. We know the older brick homes off Kurrajong Road and the newer townhouses near the station. Half the calls we get here are tired old ducted units that finally gave up. The other half are repairs on systems that just need a service to limp through another summer.

30+ Years

Casula is a real mix. You have got solid double-brick homes from the 70s and 80s through the established streets, newer townhouses and units around Casula Mall and the station, and a few bigger blocks out the western end. Older homes here often have the ceiling space that suits ducted. The newer townhouses usually run splits.
About Us

Air Conditioning in Casula

After air conditioning in Casula? We've been doing it since 1991, right next door in Liverpool. Ducted for a brick home runs $9,000 to $11,000, and a split is around $2,400. Plenty of repairs and replacements on older systems out this way. 4.8 stars from 280+ reviews.

Casula gets hot. It sits inland, traps the western Sydney heat, and the older brick homes hold it in well past dark. Good air conditioning Casula homeowners can actually rely on is not a luxury out here. It is how you sleep in February.

What you need depends on your place. For a typical 3 bedroom brick home in Casula you are looking at a ducted system around 10kW to 12.5kW, or a couple of splits if you only want to cool the rooms you use. A bigger 4 bedroom home usually needs 14kW or more to do the whole house properly. Get the size wrong and you either freeze in one room or never cool the rest. Have a look at our sizing calculator if you want a rough idea before we come out.

Older brick homes and ducted replacements

Loads of Casula homes still have the original ducted unit from when the place was built or last renovated. Those old units chew power and break down right when you need them. We pull the old gear out, check the ductwork, and drop in a new Panasonic or Daikin unit sized for the house. Most ducted replacements here land between $7,000 and $11,000 depending on the kW and how many zones you want.

If a full ducted swap is not on the cards yet, splits do a great job in Casula. One in the living room and one in the main bedroom covers most of how people actually live. We can talk you through what makes sense for your place and your budget. Pricing is on our pricing page if you want to see the ranges first.

We cover all of Casula and the streets around it. We are right next door in Liverpool, and we are regularly on jobs in nearby Moorebank and Prestons too. Give us a bell and we will sort you out.

Ducted Air Conditioning in Casula

Ducted air conditioning Casula homes love it because it cools the whole place quietly from the roof, with no boxes on every wall. It suits the older brick homes through Casula that have the ceiling space for it. We size the system to the house, zone it so you are not paying to cool empty rooms, and install Panasonic, Daikin or Actron depending on your budget. Mick runs our bigger ducted jobs and he has been doing it since 2009.

Ducted replacement on a 70s brick home off Kurrajong Road

Problem

Original ducted unit was 18 years old, tripping the breaker and barely cooling the back bedrooms. Owner was over patching it up.

Diagnosis

We pulled the old unit and checked the ductwork, which was still good. Installed a 14kW Daikin ducted system with 5 zones so they could shut off the bedrooms during the day. Done in a day and a half. $10,400 all up.

Two splits in a townhouse near Casula Mall

Problem

New owners of a townhouse near the station had no cooling at all and wanted the living area and main bedroom sorted before summer.

Diagnosis

Fitted a 5kW Panasonic split in the open living area and a 2.5kW in the main bedroom. Tidy back-to-back installs, no fuss. $4,300 for both supplied and installed.

No-cool repair on a split in Casula

Problem

Split system was running but blowing warm. Owner thought it was cactus and ready to replace the lot.

Diagnosis

Found it was low on gas from a small leak at the flare. Fixed the flare, re-gassed it and tested it. Cooling like new. Call-out plus $280 for the repair, saved them a couple of grand on a new unit.

Do not wait until the first heatwave to sort your air con. That is when everyone calls and the wait gets long. A quick service before summer catches small problems before they leave you sweating.

Not sure what size you need? Our sizing guide gives you a starting point, then we confirm it when we look at your home. Better to get it right than guess and regret it.
